Orchard Street Investment Management (‘Orchard Street’), the specialist commercial property investment manager, has strengthened its retail team with the appointment of Paul Nicholson as asset manager.
In his new role, Paul will form part of the team responsible for managing Orchard Street’s £1.2 bn retail portfolio, mainly comprising of dominant retail parks and ‘bulky goods’ anchored outlets, helping to implement business plans, manage tenants and drive income performance.
Paul joins Orchard Street from Savills, where he spent the past 11 years. He trained as a Chartered Surveyor and was until recently an Associate Director in its Retail Team, having specialised in this sector for the majority of his time. Paul spent the last nine months on secondment to British Land where, as a Leasing Director, he worked closely with the asset management team in overseeing external leasing agents enhancing the value of non-core assets ahead of strategic disposals.
